Bill used my old Madden strategy: Nothing they do matters, until they get to YOUR 30 Yard line.
At that point, the back of the endzone becomes a defender. You no longer have to worry about plays over the top.
Drop everyone into coverage. Take away quick routes. Use disguised zone blitzes for everything else.

I’m not a Mac Jones hater, but people need to give respect to the running game. Wins aren’t a QB stat. Mac Jones is 29th in the NFL for air yards per completion (yards per attempt includes yards after the catch & uncatchable passes.) The running game has carried this offense way before tonight & it’s kinda ridiculous that the QB always gets the credit unless they make it this obvious.

Last night, the Patriots did what so many teams don’t seem to want to do - they protected their rookie quarterback from terrible conditions and didn’t make him win the game for them. If they had forced Mac to throw the ball over and over again in that wind, he likely would have had a terrible game. That’s not me hating on Mac Jones. Not even Josh Allen, who has one of the strongest arms in the league, was able to beat the wind last night. Let’s let Mac Jones develop a bit before we throw him into a game where the weather itself says “no” to passing the ball. Also, this game truly exposed Buffalo’s greatest weakness - if they can’t rely on Josh Allen, their offense doesn’t work. They have no confidence in their running game, or they wouldn’t have asked Josh Allen to pass 30 times in those conditions. I’m going to be very interested to see what happens if the weather’s decent next time they play each other

8:35 No Nick, because they would have had 2 minutes to go with the wind at their back. What, you think they would have tried to chug down the field with the run game? With the wind at their back? And if you're not talking the last Bills drive and are talking any point in the game, same thing applies.

Chiefs have LOST to the Bills, Chargers, Titans and Ravens… 4 of the other 6 AFC seeded playoff teams.
Patriots, on the other hand, have BEATEN 3 of those teams, and haven't beaten the 4th because they're not on the schedule.

Last year, you people were calling for bill's job, now you diss Brady because you think that you have a good future. The bills are clearly now willing or ready to take command, and the chiefs are still waiting. The same goes for Baltimore's inability to beat the Steelers when they too are weak.
